PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/SHIFTLEADER, Miller’s Ale
House, Tallahassee, FL
February 2011- July 2014, Contact: Kevin Adams, General Manager 850-***-****
As an employee at Miller’s Ale House, my responsibilities included interacting with guests to
ensure a positive dining and bar experience. This position provided me with essential experience
in communications, sales, customer service and working with people of diverse backgrounds and
cultures. I was required to independently anticipate customer needs and “upsell” selected brands.
I was promoted twice while I held this position (shift leader and then bartender) due to my close
involvement with management. As a shift leader I was responsible for checking behind fellow
employees to ensure quality of work performed. I was also employee of the year in 2012. In
addition to being employed here, as required in my course work, I developed a Comprehensive
Emergency Management Plan for this facility.
INTERN, Florida Capitol, David Kerner
February 2013
As an intern under Mr. Kerner, I gained firsthand experience in the inner workings of local
government and explored the clerical work required of his office. I was left to work
independently which required me to set work priorities and to report to my supervisor. Also, I
utilized my computer skills to accomplish a multitude of tasks and reached out to other local
governments to increase legislation awareness.
