SALVATION ARMY, EMERGENCY RESPONSE UNIT, March2012- Current
. Volunteering overnight shifts with local Salvation Army Unit that is
responsible for going out during emergencies; aiding individuals are
victims of fires, natural disasters, and individuals in vulnerable
sector.
. Providing victims with support through thrift shop tickets; to
purchase supplies for basic necessity. Providing emotional support,
support with communication with other family members, providing
shelter and necessities as first response.
. Working with local firefighters and police in an active role of
support for the victims as a neutral entity.
