• Workforce Statistics- Created statistical reports for all business units on a quarterly basis. Core
metrics illustrated department efficiency, effectiveness and positive organizational impact. Gap
analysis used to identify needed skills, headcount planning, and budget requirements.
• Project Management- Utilized Microsoft Project to ensure collaboration, understanding of timelines,
milestones, and delivery expectations. Spearheaded the project management of
company six-month convention, HRIS implementations and benefit plan designs.
• HRIS/Payroll/Portal Systems- Assisted in revamp of Great Plains HR/ ADP Payroll

• Employee Training- Established new hire training program to familiarize staff on customized software,
complex company history, and organizational services. Correlation between past hires and new hire

• IT Initiatives and Privacy- Modernized paper based HR/Payroll departments through the implementation of
secure SharePoint server. Collaborated with IT to create company wide
data security program. Conducted training to ensure employee knowledge of encrypted email
applications, identification of sensitive information and privacy policies.
• Risk Management- Constructed Risk Minimization strategy to improve financial separation of duties, cash
control and cash handling procedures for bonded employees. Investigated causes of
internal theft, creating comprehensive strategies and training for finance department.
• Benefit Management- Appointed trustee of health, 401k and pension plans. Prepared financial
reports for 401k, 5500, TEF, FASB and ERISA compliance for 12M in assets.

plans from "deficient" to "highly competent".
• Recruitment- Utilized Great Plains applicant tracking data to create comprehensive profile of successful
candidate traits for all positions. Within 8 months reduced staff turnover rate
3%.
• New Ventures- Spearheaded national program requiring the hiring of 44 highly specialized
employees. Responsible for recruitment, state placement and travel strategy in addition to creating
comprehensive training program for hires.

WORLD WIDE IMPORTS, LLC - 2008 to 2012
Oversight- HR management of 258 employees in the Dallas, Fort Worth and San Diego
offices. Reported to the Regional Vice President and managed three direct HR/Payroll
employees.
• Strategy- Proposed and enacted new approaches and procedures to ensure continual
improvements of HR's strategy in efficiency, employee services and contribution to the bottom line.
• HR and Company Policy- Enforced guidelines relating to all phases of HR duties including
compensation, recruitment, performance appraisals, and employee relations.
• Benefits Management- Responsible for claims resolution, reconciliation and approval
invoices for payment. Sole contact for employee inquires on interpretation of benefit plans,
policies and procedures.
• Heath Care Compliance- Oversaw HR standards concerning HIPPA, COBRA, Short/Long
Disability, Workman's Compensation, and benefit plans.
• Compensation- Negotiated salary offers, sign-on bonuses and relocation packages at the exempt and
nonexempt level. Developed commission and pay agreements in conjunction with legal council.
• Statistical Analysis- Conducted surveys utilizing SPSS software to identify issues with labor cost accounting,
causes of personnel problems, and employee benefit satisfaction. Data
analysis was used to pinpoint needed incentive improvements.
HR GENERALIST
World Wide Imports - 2007 to 2008
Processed all personnel transactions; new hires, leaves of absence,
promotions, salary changes and terminations. Preparation and control of personnel records per
HIPPA and privacy standards.
• HRIS- Updated systems to improve management of employee relations issues, leaves,
corrective actions, payroll information and paid time off. Conducted efficiency
analysis as part of ongoing ADP/JPI HRIS implementation. Tracked workflow issues and resolved employee
timecard issues.
