Plant Manager

Carolina Metal Finishing - Bishopville, SC - December 2006 to Present

New Plant Start up, employee operations began production at the end of April 2007. Direct and implement

modifications to existing facility using contractors and in house staff to start a new powder coating paint

operation. Set equipment, arrange for all necessary process requirements, gas, electrical, process water,

process air. Hire all staff to support start up and production working with local agencies and conducting

on site interviews. Responsible all human resources management, including safety and employee training.

Responsible for all logistics including utilization of outside vendors and company leased trucking. Responsible

for all purchasing and inventory of commodities to support the facility and operations. Manage all production

scheduling, standards, quality control and reporting. Provide effective relations with customers, suppliers and

the local community.

Assistant Plant Manager

Greenpak - Florence, SC - November 2004 to December 2006

Responsible for directing all manufacturing operations related to the welding/repair divisions of the business.

65 employees, 2 shift operation, 2 direct supervisors, 20M+ manufacturing operation. Schedule production

activities and set priorities between departments and shifts. Preparation and implementation of quality,

performance standards and manufacturing methods.

Reduced line changes from weekly to monthly/semi monthly, reduced raw material inventory 40%, Reduced

finished goods inventory 45%, developed production plan based on customer requirements. Kaizened

production line layout eliminated 40% raw material duplications, reduced waste, improved flow, increased

production 26%. Increased repair business daily output 100% by revamping documentation, eliminated

duplications, tracking individual performances and developed training for employees. Managed fixture repair
