I have experience with two different companies working in the backroom in a Retail Store. Five years

ago I started working for TJ Maxx in Backroom as a processor for giftware and bedding(luggage and

furniture included).I stayed with them for Four years and then moved on to Kmart where I help unload

the Truck shipment and sort what they call Repacks which are miscellaneous goods that get sorted

into various bins(about 20 different bins). I apply security tags to cetain items and check in Electronics

with a sheet containing matching UPC codes. I also help with other tasks that the department Boss has

for me...bringing out boxed furniture and placeing on the floor,putting away big boxes of shoes into the

approppriate spots in the storage room.

As described in previous section...I got an award at Kmart for being Employee of the Month for the Loss

Prevention Department.

Processor

TJ Maxx - Edison, NJ

March 2007 to April 2011

I worked as a Processor for Giftware and Bedding-applying EAS tags to certain items and getting furniture

and Luggage processed. We had everything processed the same day as the Truck shioment arrived.

Library shelver

Alexander Library-Rutgers University - New Brunswick, NJ

June 1997 to September 2006

I worked as a part time shelver for nine years-shelving returned books in one of the biggest Libraries

in New Jersey. I performed other tasks including shelfreading the collection to make sure they were in

proper order. I helped "shift" the collection numerous times to make way for new books. I also searched

for books that were moldy and pulled them from the collection to be treated.
