Position: Retail Specialist (Field Sales Representative)
I currently work as a Field Sales Representative for Black and Decker, DeWALT, Bostitch, and Porter Cable
power tools. My territory consists of 18 Lowe’s stores in Northeast Ohio. The primary focus of my position is to
increase sales in my territory. Typical duties include the following: selling in displays; writing orders; helping to
maintain inventory levels in each store; pricing products; building displays; resetting products and bays using
plan-o-grams; conducting sales driving events; leading product training sessions with Lowe’s store employees;
creatively use marketing materials; and inspect returned products with a focus on reducing the return rate from
my territory. I am also evaluated on my ability to obtain and grow specific sales goals and other objectives for
my territory, keep track of monthly expenses and submit monthly expense reports, and process information
by using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
