I am experienced in Environment, Health and Safety in the industrial construction
industry and all areas of safety and emergency preparedness. I have varied experience in
many different fields of EPC development. With a military background in emergency
preparedness I expanded my career into areas of training oil field workers in fire- fighting
and chemical hazards. I provided 31 facilities within the medical area, with EHS and
emergency preparedness in King County, Washington.

Worley Parsons Cord – Projects HSE Manager (1.7 years)
• Managed 3 modular yards and one fabrication shop and travelled to various
locations throughout Alberta
• Supervised a staff of 11 HSE advisors/paramedics and prepared HSE manuals and
emergency preparedness plans for each location
• Presented monthly HSE statistics via video conferencing to international audience
of Worley Parsons corporate staff
Saipem (Snapproggeti) - HSE/Assistant Construction Manager (2 years)
• Renovation and Development of fabrication shop in Nisku
• Construction and development of a 38 acre modular and fabrication facility
• Acquired all City and development permits for this project (Aurum Park)
• Developed HSE planning during the phased construction
Kearl Lake – CBI Horton – Field Safety Supervisor (1.3 years)
• FSU Construction overseer of 6 HSE Advisors

Project was to demolish and rebuild (after a fire) while working directly next to
operating plants
Managed sub-contractors in association with construction management with safety

KBR – HSE Manager – Hydrogen Plant Construction - Air Products (1.5 years)
Expansion of the existing hydrogen development complex
Worked with ABSA in association with this development, due to the extreme hazards
involved with pressurization, start-up and commissioning process
Fort Hills Project – Safety Lead Manager (1.5 years)
Developed safety plan incorporating new Froth plant and civil tank farm procedure as
part of the Front End team
Prepared HSE manuals and emergency preparedness plans for each location
Spent 6 months in Calgary at SNC Lavlin offices preparing HSE/crane
awareness/EP/hazard ID
Syncrude UE1 - Area Safety Manager – New Construction and Revamping plants
(2.5 years)
Specific area of coverage was for utilities and off-site (throughout site)
Reviewed and approved site work permits in association with Syncrude, on a daily
basis for next day operation (84 Sub-contractors)
Duty Safety Manager for weekend work (on a rotational basis)with estimated
workforce of 6,000
Transferred to commissioning and start-up of individual plants on same site
