I am currently working as the US Divisional Director of i2i Media, a Global Streaming Media company where I head up the Digital Sales Team selling Streaming Solutions to the Film and TV Industry Worldwide.
I can offer hard work, determination and a closing ability that is second to none. My background is in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, and Artist Management. I ran my own Artist Management Company in the UK for several years before relocating. I have sold online and mobile solutions with i2i Technology Ltd as detailed below.
The roles have involved telesales and all promotional aspects of selling and marketing but predominantly I am a sales operative with over 20 years experience in a wide variety of Sales positions including 5 years in the Publishing industry with Kay Media LTD in London.
I have over 20 years sales experience in a wide variety of fields and have sold everything from Real Estate to Advertising in Directories to the Film & TV Industry to Online Services such as Streaming Media. I am educated to degree level and have travelled extensively around the world with my work. All this experience I can bring to the table for you.

Prior to i2i Media I worked as an Advertising Sales Executive for Kay Media for 5 years but I have now relocated to Los Angeles. I was responsible for selling advertising space in the Kays UK Production Manual effectively known as the bible for the TV and Film industry in the UK and Europe. I worked in this role since August 2004 and am responsible for helping to renew over £600,000 worth of advertising space within the manual. The Sales team was small and in the 2005 campaign consisted of only 2 Full Time Salesmen.
We brought in new business of over £200,000. My own personal goal of £250,000 worth of renewal and new business was met last month. My new business sales from July 2005 is over £100,000.
My role was mainly telesales based, including closing Renewal and sourcing and closing new business, but I have attended with Kays and with i2i Technology, all of the major trade shows listed in your advert including MIPTV, MIDEM and MILIA (3 years in a row), IBC and Cannes (again for 3 years in a row) as well as RSVP, VIDEOFORUM and THE EVENT SHOW. With Kays, I act as a Field agent at all of these trade shows, sourcing new leads and securing new business as well as "pressing the flesh" with our current advertisers. As our renewal is obviously clients that have advertised with us previously my role also encompasses a good deal of Account Management, checking that clients are happy that they have received the services that have been sold to them, and going that extra mile to guarantee client satisfaction.
I am looking for a role which will allow me to progress within a more corporate structure as career progression at Kays etc seems limited as it is a small organisation. I am also interested in breaking into TV Sales. I have worked within the TV and Film sector on the periphery for the past 5 years with i2i Technology and Kays.
I currently earn in excess of £60,000 per annum, and am looking for a similar salary. Most of my salary is composed of commission (my basic salary is effectively £30,000 per year) and so the amount of money made is due to hard work and effective selling.

My main role within i2i Technology Ltd. is to build strong client relationships, to manage targets and to manage Sales within this growing I.T. Company.
My role has involved me working closely with a small team, which includes the M.D. and Business Development Manager, and being instrumental in developing, building maintaining and managing strong effective client relationships.
This involves the "creation" of client relationships (via "cold calling" or "web hunting"), arranging the subsequent business meetings, attending the said meetings and presenting to the client a demonstration of i2i Technology's range of services. Using the strategy of SPIN and other Selling Techniques that I have been extensively trained in, our job is to then "close" the client and the deal. Within my 18 month stay at i2i Technology the company has grown to become the premier Streaming Company in the U.K. with the majority of U.K. Film and Television Distribution Companies having signed up with i2i Technology Ltd. These include Parthenon, Avalon T.V., RDF Media and Hit Entertainment.
Due to our attending such Festivals as Cannes and the International MIPTV and MILA TV Festivals, i2i Technology Ltd. has also negotiated deals with many large Global TV Corporations, such as MGM and The Discovery Channel. I was involved in all aspects of negotiating and solidifying these deals.
In my role as P.R. Manager, my part in securing these clients and deals has been vital from the preliminary point of contact to the final signing of the deal.

After having run my own Management Company (THRUSH Management) in Los Angeles, and running it there for two years, I left the business in the capable hands of my two brothers who live there. The Company was implicit in finding the Artists, Bent U.S.A. and Doofer and getting them signed to a major Record Company in the U.S.
Returning to the U.K., I moved to Brighton where I joined Bonett's Estate Agents as a Sales Negotiator. My role was to help in the Promotion, Marketing and Selling of Real Estate in the Brighton area. Bonett's was a small Independent Company which had a healthy reputation.
The role involved the finding of Property, the measuring and creation of marketing material for the property, the subsequent promotion of the property, including the cold-calling of potential clients and the acceptance of property offers. The role subsequently involved dealing with the Vendor and Buyers legal representatives, the surveyors, taking the Vendor and Buyer through every stage of the selling and buying process of a property.

My role as Managing Director of THRUSH Management, working in Los Angeles, encompassed the creation of my own company, which was to promote and market British music in the United States and involved taking two British Groups, Bent U.S.A and Doofer to America and arranging all the subsequent meetings with Record
Companies and Publishers, including large U.S. Companies such as Maverick, Warner Brothers and Dreamworks.
The role also included the promotion of the Artists, the marketing of the music, the arranging of the meetings with A&R Departments, the arranging of concerts in Los Angeles, dealing with Promoters and Marketing Departments. The two acts are currently signed to American Music Labels and U.K. Publishing Companies.
