SIMULATION AND DESIGN PROJECTS
2D Plane Elasticity Finite element analysis program Aug 2013 - Dec 2013
Wrote a complete finite element analysis program in MATLAB capable of analyzing 2 -D Elasticity problems.
Mechanical & thermal loads and homogenous & non-homogenous boundary conditions can be specified.
Code was capable to taking standard text file as an input and generate formatted text file as an output.
The final code was validated using various test cases under variety of loading and boundary conditions.
Oct 2013 – Jun 2014
Finite element analysis projects
Developed as finite element models using Abaqus for Ultrasonic transducer (assembly), C-Section beam, torque
arm, syringe plunger, boom luffing cranes, contact analysis of lap joints, drop test of circuit.
Used static, dynamic, modal and buckling analysis solvers and mesh to analyze this models. Evaluated these
models using different failure criteria, displacement, temperatur es distribution and modal and dynamic response.
Finite element analysis of Energy Harvester systems (Final year project – MS) Apr 2014 – Aug 2014
Developed a FE model of nano-composite beam, patched with piezo-electric material using Abaqus 6.12.
Analyzed non-linear dynamic structural response of beam under thermal and electrical loading conditions.
Developed thermal analogy to simulate equivalent harmonic electrical loading for shell elements.
Jan 2013 – May 2013
Gear pump housing development
Designed 3-D Model, assembly, rendered model and machine drawings with GD & T using SolidWork s.
Generate NC code of the part using SurfCAM. Manufactured the part on HAAS VF-6 milling center.
Formulated manufacturing process plan and gen erated detailed inspection report of the component.

Reverse Engineering
Created a sustainable solution for manufacturing disc brake rotors by reverse engineering, new product
development study and reworking on used rotors. Bringing down average cost of rotors by 20 %.
Developed CAD drawings using GD&T and Solidworks based on a vailable specimen. RFQs, rework part
drawings, cost report, process plan and accordingly design fixtures were also prepared to support conclusion.
PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS
Aug 2012 – Dec 2012
Standardization and modularization of Hydraulic power unit and Cylinders
Designed standardized hydraulic systems and modules for Mining and bulk material handling machines.
