Experience

Math tutor, Tutoring Services Center at UTSA October 2011 –May 2014

• Tutor students in mathematics ranging from Algebra I to college

calculus. Assist supervisor in assessing and advising new tutors.

• Participated in jump start program at UTSA: a program that help s

students throughout the summer to develop enough knowledge in

mathematics in order to move into Algebra, Pre -calculus and

Calculus.

Additional Experience April 2012- April 2014

• Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity: helped in construction area.

• Volunteer at UTSA for the freshmen orientation, specifically

assisting international students in their transition.

Class projects April 2014

• Time series class project: did a research on birthrates from 1920 to

2012 and looked for the factor that caused birthrates to drop during

the 1940s. Used SAS to find the answer.

• Multivariate data analysis class project: used SPSS to run analysis

and solve the issue of auto pollution filter noise and car

performance.

Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, SPSS and beginner java.

Language skills

Multi-lingual advanced writing and speaking skills in French. Took a

Semester in Spanish and two semesters in Japanese and Korean.
