• Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering
Courses: Control Systems, Power Electronics, Advanced Control Systems, Microprocessors
Digital Signal Processing, Instrumentation, Microcontrollers
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Spartan Motors, Electrical Design Engineer Charlotte, MI – January 2014 to Present
• Design engineering circuit solutions to customer requirements tied to distinct timeline for both
fire trucks and motor homes.
• Design responsibilities included Components, Harnessing and Schematics using AutoCAD along
with developing detailed installation drawings to show production how to things needed to be
installed through a complete Bill of Material(BOM).
• Design suspects. Suspects are general customization requirements that change for every
single truck manufactured. Utilize AutoCAD and Solid Works Electrical.
• Experience in working with J1939 AND CAN Protocol. Used Vehicle spy to read BUS
traffic, to log data and review logged data
• Worked with L-series switches, which have roller pin mechanism. Additionally, L-series
and V-series Carling switches; used in the harnesses depending upon the ratings,
termination options, and switch sealing.
• Validation Experience; worked in circuit analysis along with testing and validation of
switches to match the design requirements and functionality.
• Utilize multi-meters to perform different kinds of validation testing processes.
• Worked on developing a simulation tool for speech recognition.
SKILLS:
Technical Skills: AUTOCAD, Solid works, MATLAB, Microsoft Excel, Assembly Language and
programming micro-controllers
Software: C programming, VBA macros
Computer Tools: MS Office
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Display Interfacing with 8751 Microcontroller and Updating Using RS232 at Indian Space Research
Organization (ISRO)
• Worked in the Department of space, during the period from June to July, 2010.
• Collaborated with a team of two
• The display devices are interfaced with the micro controller 8751. The Required programs are
developed in Assembly language and the hardware was wired and tested on the test board.
• The 8751 is interfaced to the computer system using RS-232 interface .The information, which is
sending to the system on RS-232, is displayed on the displays provided to show the status of the
system to the use.
Pulse position data card used in Aircraft Maintenance at Bharath Electronics Limited, Ministry of
Defense during the period from January to May, 2011.
• Mainly involves Serial BUS communication using RS432.It is capable of both transmitting and
receiving messages.
• Program the microcontroller such that the clock generates the pulse according to the Master/Slave
mode.
• PPD is an entirely different mode of serial data transmission system which finds its application in
data transmission.
-This PPD card is one of the sections in GRIP (General RS432 Interface with PPD) card which
mainly caters serial bus
PROJECTS
• Worked on a project to design “Home Automation using GSM”.
• Using GSM networks, a control system has been developed that will act as an embedded system
which can monitor and control appliances and other devices locally using built-in I/O devices.
The data is transmitted through serial communication. This project was further extended with
infotainment features where a car can be controlled using the same technology and have a Wi-Fi
hotspot too.
• Development of a manually controlled Robot which is constructed and wired for robotics level
wrestling for inter-college competitions. Research project and construction on autonomous Robot
which follows a manually set path depending on the color of the path using automatic sensor.
