Academic Mini Project:

Title: Evaporators and Filters

Description: This project was done in the K.c.p and C.O sugar industry which is the second largest producer of sugar in Asia. Evaporator is used for increasing the concentration of cane juice and for removing the water content in the cane juice. Filters are used for clarifying the juice, separating the mud and juice.

Project details:

Title: Analysis of surface roughness and hardness of burnished component EN19

Description: Surface finish and hardness of a component play important role in any component. In any conventional machining or surface finishing process the material is removed and surface finish is obtained but hardness is considerably not. In all these conventional processes materials will undergo tensile stresses and impart surface finish and hardness considerably less. If we can impart compressive stresses instead of tension in the component we can reach our requirement of increasing both gradually. One such process which does not remove material and because of applied pressure on the component will make plastically deforms andthe surface finish will obtain and will increase both the parameters. That process is BURNISHING.

Brief description about work experiance:

1year of Working experience in Mechanical production and drafting Field. Currently I am working as a production engineer & draftsmen in Shalom Enterprises, Hyderabad. I do have skills like Welding, Fabrication, Inspection, Auto CAD, Production Planning Etc.

About the company:

Shalom Enterprises, Hyderabad is MSME and ISO certified manufacturing company in India with an Annual turnover of around 2 to 3 crores INR. Company is Engaged in Production of different types of security systems like boom barriers, tripods, flap barriers, full head turnstiles and gate automation.

Responsibilities:

* Supervising Fabrication & Assembly Shop, for smooth supply of raw material & finished Product.

* Co Ordination with all the colleagues for effective planning & follow up of Material as per Requirement.

* Inspection of Incoming fabricated & Machining Items from Vendors/Units.

* To conduct Stage Wise inspection of Job and offer for the final Inspection.

* Responsible for the final product.

* Responsible in Solutions of Technical Problems that comes in way during fabrication & Assembly of job to make sure no delay in production line.

* Reporting To concern Authorities about Production on shop on daily basis.

* To conduct Final inspection with clients/Third party along with their Quality department.
