I am a medical professional with fifteen years of experience. This includes

six years as a California Registered Nurse, eight years as Licensed

Vocational Nurse, and two years as a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. My

leadership skills include mentoring and instructing new graduate nurse

students and cardio-thoracic nurses. Currently I work with nurses to assist

with improvements in alarm management using the Extension Healthcare

software solutions. I have lead the implementation of and training for the

GetWellNetwork in the VAGLA facility. I have served on the Nurse

Professional Standards Board, evaluating new nurse's experience and

3/2014-Present. Extension Healthcare. Clinical Practice Manager

Working with clinicians across the United States to improve alarm

management, clinical workflow and patient safety with the Extension

Healthcare solution. Design and lead clinical workshops to coincide with

current nursing workflow and to alter that workflow based on alarm

management best practices. Develop and design User Acceptance Testing

scripts based on workshop design. Conduct UAT with end users. Instruct

nurses and staff on how alerts and alarms will be dispatched to end

devices.
