Co-developing and launching the new Vehicle Quality Evaluation Program at Navistar’s Garland Assembly
Plant. Perform vehicle audits to continuously benchmark vehicle quality at all Navistar vehicle plants globally.
Actively serve as the technical expert and coach for the assembly plants on implementation and daily use of the
program guidelines. Work closely with corporate and plant management and counterparts on validation and
program enhancements.
Quality Engineer: Continuous Improvement efforts over General Assembly. Also assisted production on
corrective actions related to internal campaign issues. Worked closely with production and suppliers to research
problems, identified root cause, implemented corrective actions, and verified resolution through permanent
resolution. Maintained a corrective action / preventative action database to help track issues.
Quality Auditor-Navistar (2005 – 2011): Responsible for inspection of up to 100 trucks per day to trouble-shoot
mistakes, defects, improper installation of parts, design problems to ensure optimal quality at Garland Assembly
Plant producing 120 to 150 per day medium, heavy, and severe service trucks for variety of customers ranging
from local delivery, long haul, utilities, bus chassis, and military armored combat vehicles . Serve as lead for
daily In Process Audits communicating defect, potential problems and daily quality metrics to Plant Management
team. Administered Share-Points Site for Garland Assembly Plant Processes, Standard Work Documents and
Quality Department Processes. Reviewed, Evaluated and Approved: Corporate, Manufacturing, Quality and
Materials Standards.
Problem Solver (Supplier Quality Engineer) & Process Auditor
Problem Solver (SQE) - W orked as liaison between the plant and supplier on quality issues. Responded to
production issues involving parts or sub-assemblies from suppliers that were not built per blue print
specification. Implemented corrective action and preventative Action reports to suppliers.
Process Auditor - Responded to issues involving incorrect processes in relation to; parts, tools or personnel
issues. Audited employees on production/inspection processes. Issues found would result in a Corrective Action
and Preventative Action for resolution. Maintained process document database. Authored new production and
inspection processes.
Business & Quality Lead:
Led quality and manufacturing efforts for improvement of new product launch methods, processes and
procedures for large, cross functional development teams. Resulted in introduction of product launch manual
and company product manufacturing culture change.

Dynamometer (final electrical and components check) and which trucks needed additional modification repair
work.
New Generation Vehicle (NGV) Team Member-Navistar (2000 – 2002): Chosen by leadership to be a New
Generation Vehicle Team Member to launch the addition of multiple models to the assembly plant. This entailed
my input in laying out the assembly line to accommodate new models; training assembly technicians on
assembly of new products; setting up assembly to meet customer deli very requirements.
Assembly Technician – Navistar(1997– 2000): Technician placed in all aspects of the assembly line Learned
installation and assembly in virtually all aspects of the building of a variety of models of commercial trucks from
service to heavy duty. Versatile and adept at reading blueprints and shop instructions.
