Ohashi Bros. Logging, 1982-1987
Operated logging equipment and logging trucks. Conducted safety meetings and helped develop
some of the first safety procedures in the logging industry. Worked with Weyerhaeuser, Riverside
Forest Products and Lavington Wood Products to develop a system for workers to report near
misses. This contributed to identifying hazards in the logging industry and helped prevent injury to
workers.
