Conducted due diligence and built business case for $500MM leveraged acquisition of two companies,

doubling the company revenues and growing to 65% share in core market while recapitalizing the balance

sheet with lower-cost debt and new equity.

Re-instituted company’s operating budget on a divisional P&L responsibility basis allowing each division to

be measured by appropriate peer benchmarks. Developed dashboard report to increase visibility of

ever codeshare joint venture agreement. Divested two subsidiaries to focus on core business divisions.

Wrote information memorandum to drive investor interest in company’s restructured business and

participated in company roadshow to successfully attract $120MM in exit capital from private equity fund.

new jets, which led manufacturers and lessors to invest $80MM in preferred stock and commit $2 billion in

equipment financing.

Worked with CFO to refinance company’s unsecured bonds. Conducted an exchange offer to postpone

$300MM in upcoming maturities, attracting 85% participation from bondholders.

Supervised public relations and investor relations. Increased financial disclosure consistency to improve

company’s following from analyst community. Coordinated public relations messaging leading up to and

during company’s bankruptcy filing.

Created hedging program that reduced price risk exposure and earnings volatility through use of swap

instruments. Managed accounting treatment of program consistent with FAS 133.
