Assists traditional emergency service with specialties including

underwater rescue, search and recovery, land search, low angle rope rescue,

and swift water rescue.. CDART is a volunteer non-profit organization that

assists the York County Office of Emergency Management, rescue squads, law

enforcement, and Red Cross in the Carolinas. The Carolina Dive & Rescue

Team is a 100% non-profit, All volunteer group serving the Carolinas.

DISTRIBUTION SUPERVISOR, NORTHERN TOOL & EQUIPMENT

2007-2008

Working as a Retail Supervisor in a 700K sq. ft. Distribution Center.

Directing 12 - 35 associates in a 3-shift work environment. Responsible

for the preparing products (about 200,000 skus) for the retail store

division. In a pick, pack and load automated distribution center.

Working with Warehouse Management Systems such as vocollect voice pick, RF

task picking and loading. Other programs, Kronos automated timekeeping,

AS400 operation system, and Manhatten Asso. LM program.

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR, HOMEGOODS division of TJX CO.

1999-2006

As 3rd Party Liaison Supervisor, I directed the efficient and cost-

effective pick & pack operations of a 350K sq. ft. 3PL Distribution Center.

With a management staff, of 12 managers and 250+ associates in a 3-shift

operation. This was a new start-up DC.

* Reduced supply cost by 10% by negotiating with local vendor.

* Started Furniture Repair program and saved ~$40K in lost sales.

* Traveled to 30% of new company stores to train receiving staff.

* Reduced shipping damages and OS&D paperwork.

* Reviewed and verified all invoices prior to submission to home office.

* Responsible for inventory and productivity.

The overall direction of outbound activities related to order picking,

checking, loading and stock replenishment in two warehouse (dry and frozen)

system. With emphasis on manually delivery routing, driver scheduling,

damage reduction, security and inventory control.

TRANSPORTATION MANAGER, MARTIN BROWER CO.

1980-1985

Responsible for the day to day operations including; safety, driver

training, dispatch, scheduling, P & L, DOT regulations, the management of

three supervisors and seventeen drivers for a three-shift operation.

Additional responsibilities in accounts payable, payroll, workman's

compensation, vehicle maintenance, backhaul revenue, and customer

relations.

SUPERVISOR, Served as a Security, Warehouse, and Transportation

supervisor s managing all related tasks for that division. The duties

ranged form order selection, loading and receiving, to the dispatching and

log review of drivers, and insuring the security of this twenty-four hour

distribution center.
