POST GRADUATE:

DSP Based Control of Interleaved Boost Converter For Fuel Cell

- For a hybrid vehicle, the voltage from fuel cell needs to be stepped up

to the requirement of load. Employing Interleaved Boost Converter boosts

the voltage and introduces ripple in the voltage. A PI controller

implemented in the DSP is used to minimize the ripple in the voltage.

Hardware in-loop simulation of the two phase interleaved boost converter

is implemented using ELVIS Kit and the control action is done on

TMS320F28027 DSP Processor.

UNDER GRADUATE:

Reactive Power Compensation Using Fuzzy-Logic and Simulated Annealing

- In a Radial Distribution System the voltage losses at some buses are

more. The Buses are found by Fuzzy logic technique and Simulated

Annealing is used to optimize the placement of capacitors for reactive

power compensation.
