May 2013 to Present: Orchid Orthopedic Solution
. Supervisor over entire second shift including, CNC machining,
Inspection, Plating, Raw Materials, CMM, Shipping, Metal Finishing,
and Assembly.
November 2000 to February 2013: Atrion Medical Production Supervisor
. Supervisor in charge of three shifts in automation machine, assembly
and injection molding departments. Instrumental in changing the
automation area so one operator can run two machines, 5S the
department, internal and external audits and safety audits. Had
training in 6 sigma, lean manufacturing, 5S, and supervisory
leadership.
September 1998 to 2000: Cullman Products Production Supervisor
. Supervisor over the anodizing, powder coating, frame welding, and roll
and die departments.
September 1979 to June1998: Parker Hannifin Shift Supervisor
. Over eleven years working in the Ultra High Purity division of Parker
Hannifin as shift supervisor. Job responsibilities included:
o Quality Assurance line inspector from 1979 to 1988
o Quality Assurance Supervision for entire UHP facility, class 100
clean room, secondary machines, receiving warehouse and water
treatment
o Worked independently with numerous internal and external
customers at all levels of management
Job Skills and Qualifications: Over twenty-five years providing leadership
in a supervisory role over areas such as machining, secondary machining,
shipping and receiving, quality assurance, and working with internal and
external audits.
Computer Skills: Experience with PC software including the latest versions
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Education: 1978 graduate of Arab High School in Arab, Alabama
Training: I have taken numerous classes aimed at the betterment of
supervisory skills such as leadership, employee motivation, 5S, 6 sigma,
management training and lean manufacturing. I have also been trained in
Hazardous waste management, Hazardous materials, DOT, HAZWOPER, CPR/First
Aid, and SCBA Training. I was also a member of Parker Emergency Response
Team.
