WORK EXPERIENCE
November 2001 to date: African Wildlife Foundation, Samburu heartland.
Duties: Driving and maintaining the field vehicle and making sure it’s in a good working
condition at all times. Assisting in all field activities pertaining to the conservation action
plans involved in our work schedule. This includes; community mobilization in readiness
for workshops, data collection in research projects, guiding guests in national parks and
reserves, driving staff members to numerous field projects, office errands, data entry and
other office duties.
June 2000 to December 2000: Southern Cross safaris ltd, Nairobi.
Duties: Driver guiding tourists from Nairobi to various panoramic sites of Kenya. This
includes the coastal beaches, the Great Rift Valley, National parks and reserves, and
many other places as assigned.
July 1999- May 2000: Silerline tours, Nairobi. The same duties as the Southern Cross
safari’s one but extended to East African region.
June 1998- March 1999: Emirates airline, Nairobi.
Duties: On time picking and dropping the flight crews to and fro airport / town
Maintenance of the crew bus was very vital due to their sensitive line of duty.
February 1993- November 1997: Saudi Arabian airlines, Nairobi.
Duties: Customer service Agent which involved check in, all departure and arrival
formalities.
Hobbies
I like learning, traveling, gymnastics, listening to music and playing billiard. I’m social and
