Presently have work experience in various manufacturing and

supervision of a team of 6-10 production operators.

Document control; consisting of updating and creating various

documents to satisfy FDA, NSF and other regulatory agency

requirements. Initiate and follow through with testing

requests of raw material and finished goods, shipping and

tracking, data entry of production information and laboratory

results; in house and 3rd party. Work with suppliers and

satellite company locations to assure proper documentation is

available for all material received. Coordinate proper

labeling of finished product in regards to test batches of

new product ideas. Monitor and update MSDS catalogs as

Administrative Assistant/Buyer/Document Control Coordinator/Manufacturing

associate:

2008-2011 Administrative Assistant/Buyer - While working

under little to no supervision, I handled multiple

assignments simultaneously including, but not limited to:

purchasing and maintaining MRO, personal protective

equipment, maintenance and office supplies, obtained best

pricing to control costs. Processed purchase orders through

the QAD system to be submitted to the supplier

(electronically or verbally) and closed out purchase orders

when product or service has been received. Interacted with

organization personnel daily, accurate entry of data

pertaining to daily production (P-Charts into QAD), generated

expense reports and assisted in reconciling corporate credit

card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement,

created and maintained facility production spreadsheets, and

monthly updates of BOS related items, coordinated and

processed domestic and international travel arrangements with

itineraries and any other responsibilities as requested. As

of April 2010 I accepted the role of Document Control

Administrator for the Quality department utilizing the

QSI/IBS database within Lotus Notes. I assisted with the

launching of numerous part numbers requiring new work

instructions, product specifications, process standards,

policies and procedures, form documents and process control

sheets. I validated work instructions and process

instructions as developed, processed daily DCR's (Document

Change requests) to keep documents at current specifications

as required by industry and customer requirements. Basic

knowledge of the PPAP process as well. I also assisted the IT

department with issues within the immediate office to avoid

unnecessary lost time.

Previous positions held within the company:

Full Zone Operator/Quality Control Auditor - Responsible for

100% product conformance to customer requirements, non-

conforming materials and finished product were segregated to

avoid packaging and delivery to customer. Product conformance

verified through use of visual acuity, caliper and micrometer

measurements as well as poka yoke verifications.

Documentation of non-conformances and process discrepancies

to establish corrective action parameters leading to reduced

downtime and waste were performed routinely. Work and

documentation regularly reviewed and found to be consistently

accurate and compliant to customer and facility requirements,

demonstrating my thorough understanding of the job and

accuracy requirements. Frequent standing and repetitive

"hands-on" loading of metal and rubber components to loading

boards or directly onto hydraulic heated machine press were

present in all FZO positions held.

Certified Trainer - Responsible for introducing and

adequately instructing new employees on process standards and

work instructions so they had a substantial and thorough

understanding of the job, paperwork and procedures, company

policies and the importance of accuracy.

Mold-set/Tool Cleaning and set-up - Ensured clean tooling for

further production using an electric hoist and sand-blast

method as well as Full Zone Operator/Quality Control Auditor

for duration of production time during shift.

Back-up Group Leader - Responsible for keeping materials on

hand for operators, diagnosing and correcting machine

malfunctions to reduce scrap and downtime for consistent

production.

I have been involved in Kaizen activities to increase

productivity, efficiency and cost savings during my time with

Freudenberg-NOK. My Lean Systems Green Belt training classes

started in 2010, but had always been a part of my working

environment as well as 5S principles, Lean Manufacturing and

Six Sigma principles.
