Project: CAMS File Phase III for United Health care Apr 2011- Mar 2013
(Community and State Ohio Medicaid Health Plan)
A phased approach was implemented to meet the requirements identified by Ohio Department of Jobs and
Family Services (ODJFS) associated with the submission of the CAMS file. Phase I resulted in the
generation of a Reconciliation file, Phase II incorporated an additional temporary process to supplement
the existing CAMS Extract until a CareOne Enhancement could be implemented. This BRD represents
Phase III of this approach. In Phase III, the existing CareOne CAMS Extract would be enhanced to
accurately reflect members associated with the required Care Management condition classifications, as
well as the number of high risk stratified cases.

Project: Pittsburgh MACESS Implementation Sep 2010 –
Mar 2011
In conjunction with the FirstSource/RMO paper claim submissions migration, the claims workflow process is
implemented by leveraging AmeriChoice’s core MACESS system. The MACESS implementation is to replace
current Pittsburgh Unison imaging (OnBase) and workflow (GetClaim) systems, by building imaging and workflow
functionality within the MACESS application. MACESS is a content-driven business process management solution,
enabling organizations to capture vital information as it enters the workplace and electronically distribute it through
user-defined workflows.
The goal of this project is to increase productivity of claims processing and to streamline the data capturing
process. In addition, claims workflow management is implemented which reduced costs and standardize
inbound/outbound processes.

Project: Production support for Extensions on Facets Mar 2009 – Present
Currently, Facets allows the use of extensions to provide additional functionality that the application cannot provide.
Facets allows timing events that can launch extensions and can be used to store additional data to a table,
update the Facets screen, and perform logic checks . These extensions were written in VB.Net front end and they
use MS SQL Server database as backend. These extensions perform some logic checks that Facets application
cannot perform. Extensions open and retrieve what logic should be used from a table based on the application that
launches extensions and based on the Line of Business. We have total 31 extensions and we launch them from
Claims Processing screens.

Project: iCES - Medical Claims for GLHP and Unison, iCes 4x, PA Integration Oct 2009– July2010
iCES is a third party product known as the Ingenix Claim Editing System; it is an open architecture claims editing
tool that provides rules-based edits to review professional claims for coding inaccuracies. The Clearing House is an
internal United Health Group’s product created by the United Health Care division that is based on iCES but has
proprietary enhancements that are not made available to anyone outside United Health Group.
This project provides an interface between River Valley, Unison and GLHP FACETS claim platforms to iCES CH for
AmeriChoice professional claims.
This will create a centralized rules repository to be the single source-of-truth editing tool for professional claim
reimbursement across AmeriChoice claims platforms in DIAMOND and FACETS. DIAMOND platform currently
utilizes the iCES CH for eight AmeriChoice Health Plans.

Project: One Bill Mar 2005 – Apr 2008
One-Bill project is Verizon’s retail market strategic initiative that enables customers to view Verizon Wireless
charges on their Verizon Communications landline bill. This is a muti-tier project and involved interactions with
several database servers and other third party systems. This is a data driven application that requires extraction of
data from different systems and publishing of data using sophisticated data grid concepts.

reward customers who utilize Verizon's many products. I worked on development/enhancements/production
support on ONE-BILL project to provide a single bill for Verizon customers even though they avail different services
of Verizon viz., Verizon Landline, Verizon Wireless, and DirectTV. This system communicates to different services
in-order to generate One Bill to the customers. This system is used by all Verizon retailers through out USA.
This project has two main modules Enrollment/De-enrollment to One Bill, Reports generation
Enrollment module accepts customers BTN (Bill telephone number) or SSN as primary source to enroll for one bill
generation process. Enrollment module includes various checks based on BTN, SSN for the validity of the
customers. One Bill system talks to eRegistration system using .NET web services for the authentication of the
