EXPERIENCE
SWANBERG SECURITY & INVESTIGATIONS / AARONS LOCK & KEY in Amery, Chetek,
Manitowoc and Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Owned and operated these security, investigations and
locksmithing businesses full and part time from 1989 to 2014. I administered the businesses,
handled all human resource functions, supervised employees, conducted investigations, security
and safety consulting and audits, placed and scheduled security guards, alarms and locksmith
services. I closed a portion of this business in 2013 due to the economy. I still do
Locksmith/Alarm work part time.
UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN – LACROSSE as a Security Officer 3 from April, 2013 to
February, 2014. Protect staff, students and the public on campus, patrol buildings and grounds,
maintain security at special events, issue parking citations, control traffic, greet and assist
visitors, maintain a visible security presence, investigate suspicious activities and assist police
officers in their duties.
CCB HOUSING MANAGEMENT at Superior, Wisconsin as a part time (32HPW) Regional
Housing Manager for four subsidized (HUD 8,202,811 & RD) housing complexes in Wisconsin
for the elderly and disabled (One was a CBRF). Leased and maintained apartments. Supervised
housekeepers and maintenance technicians as well as a tenant service coordinator from 2006 to
2007. Handled human resource functions for all employees who worked for me.
CASS LAKE POLICE DEPARTMENT at Cass Lake, Minnesota as a full time School Resource
Officer at two schools, patrol officer and Interim Chief of Police from 2002 to 2004. I provided
security for staff, students and visitors, plus safety programming and instruction for students in
several areas. I was the law enforcement liaison between the police department and the schools
and provided a positive police contact for students. I taught a Junior Police Academy and safety
education. When school was not in session I performed patrol and investigation duties and was
the Interim Chief of Police while the Chief served in the military.
BAXTER POLICE DEPARTMENT at Baxter, Minnesota as a part and full time Police Officer
from 1985 to 1989. Public safety, crime prevention, patrol, investigations and criminal
apprehension. At the same time I was a part time Residential Property Manager and Caretaker for
NETA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT of Fargo, North Dakota in the Brainerd, Minnesota area. I
managed one 32 unit (HUD) for families and one 64 unit (FmHA) for the elderly.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
I hold or have held licensure as a Peace Officer, Private Detective and Agency, Private Security
Person, and Class A Commercial Driver. I am also certified as a Business Manager, School
Resource Officer, Chief Law Enforcement Officer and Locksmith.

Minnesota Police and Peace Officer Association, ASIS International, Associated Locksmiths of
America and National Association of Chiefs of Police.
