o Responsible for seven food processing plants; approx. 3500
employees; producing $1.2 bil. revenues
o Created and led improvement and culture change initiatives in
seven Pet Inc. Food plants, netting $40 mil savings
o Left when company was acquired in 1995
1990-1991 VP Operations, HomeBrands Division of ConAgra, St. Louis, MO
o Responsible for two plants with approx. 250 employees
o Led a turn-around to profitability in less than one year through
operational efficiencies and improved vendor selection and
contract management
o Left when company was sold by ConAgra soon after we turned it
profitable
1985-1990 Director of Manufacturing, Stokely USA, Oconomowoc, WI
o Direct responsibility for four food processing plants and
approximately 450 employees
o Negotiated and managed joint venture with Mexican partners and
counter-seasonal supply lines with Chilean vendors, for raw
produce supply and processing
o Recruited to join ConAgra in 1990; Stokely was in early stages
of financial collapse and eventual acquisition

> Partnered with marketing to introduce Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice
and Squeezable Jelly, to national distribution
> Domestic and International plant construction & start-up
> Volunteered 18 months of pro-bono consulting to St. Patrick Center for
the homeless; Redesigned Value Proposition and led the change in
organizational culture
> Mentored and developed dozens of junior managers over the last three
decades
> Guest Lecturer at graduate business schools: Univ. of Maryland,
Webster Univ., Maryville Univ., and Gannon Univ.
> Honored as Distinguished Alumnus of Gannon University in 1999
> Have made numerous (8) week-long disaster-relief trips to aid victims
