(Responsible the entire plant operations to include NPI's, manufacturing,
managers, supervisors and technical support personnel.
(Changed the entire plant layout within six months and replaced several
pieces of capital equipment in order to improve flow and implement Lean
practices.
(Trained the entire plant, including staff on Lean Manufacturing and 5S and
implemented a weekly walk through of each team to ensure long term
sustainment.
(Identified PCB's with excess hand assembly and designed wave pallets to
increase over all through-put by 40%.

Manufacturing Manager
(Manufacturer of MRI devices used through out the world for hospitals and
universities.
(Charge with material and equipment acquisition for a new division of QED
that developed and produced the Hakari micro-inverter for the solar
industry, to include vetting of potential contract manufactures until the
plant was ready for production runs.
(Purchased a complete SMT Line from Universal Instruments and configured
the plant in order to accept the new production area.
(Work with the entire staff to ensure time schedules were met and the
critical path was not compromised.
(Developed all work instructions, production and quality standards for
manufacturing.
(It was deemed not viable to produce at current cost per unit and the
economic down turn in the solar industry. The board of directors pulled the
project after several million dollars had been invested.
(The new equipment and 90% of the assets purchased were diverted to the MRI
manufacturing.

Operations Manager
(Charged with the leadership of a Tier1, 115million plant operation,
Electronic OEM, Build to Print Controls. 304 employees to include: two
production managers, three manufacturing supervisors, test engineering,
maintenance, facilities maintenance, and engineering programming.
(Transformed surface mount and auto insertion area within one year in order
to grow the business. Handled all capital expenditures, budget, plant
layout, and hiring of new personnel.
(Train Green belts, assist Black Belts, coordinate plant, line or cell
Kaizan events. Visual factory, 5S events/5S Tag area. Lean manufacturing
throughout that is highly integrated with the engineering department in
order to drive out all non-value, waste, and material handling. Solid
employee involvement across all plant operations, 98% OTD, and meet or
exceed sales forecast.
(Saved over 3 million dollars in capital through negotiations, research,
planning, and an aggressive implementation plan. Utilize MRP/ERP systems
for planning, budget, and forecasting growth. Ensure all communications is
established through Engineering and Purchasing.
(Served as operational liaison for over one year setting up equipment,
capital spend, for two sister plants, Chihuahua Mexico and Qingdao China.
Both operations are stand-alone manufacturing units today.
(Designed and implemented a complete pass-through line for Magna Mirrors,
GM "On Star".
(Selected for and completed: Excellence in Leadership Program, Montreal
Canada.
(Completed cell configuration, warehouse, and equipment upgrades and Valor
Programming Software in order to decease NPI cycle times.
(Coordinated and constructed an IPC training area for employee annual
