(1.) Flexible hose/pipe design and analysis:

• Performed failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) of existing corrugated flexible hoses subjected to leakage

and prepared failure analysis report

• Designed both normal and compound flexible hoses for two different models of air compressor

• Determined optimum live length as well as elbow, flange and fittings orientation for improved service life

and reliability

• Performed FEA based stress and fatigue life analysis for comparative performance of newly designed hoses

with the existing designs in terms

(2.) Oil separator tank design

• Redesigned screw compressor oil/air separator tank (unfired pressure vessel) to minimize quantities of parts

and components

• Redesigned tank accessories (pipe, elbow and flange) to prevent oil leakage

• Outlined design specifications for pressure and temperature requirement as per ASME code and standard

• Completed assembly modeling of the installation of tank with respect to other consituent parts and

components of screw compressor

(3.) Manufacturing of newly designed intake/exhaust valves of cylinder head
