• Human and rodent muscle tissue isolation, preservation and processing (both frozen and fixed

tissues).

• Frozen and paraffin muscle sectioning using microtome, vibrotome and cryostat.

• Develop complex immunohistochemcial and histochemical analysis methods.

• Troubleshoot problems associated with lab instruments and develop alternatives.

• Standardize protocols, maintain a detailed description of the protocols and procedures involved.

Image Analysis and Documentation:

• Computer-based photomicroscopic (fluorescent and brightfield microscopy) image acquisition and analysis.
