Robinson Nevada Mining Co.
Mobile Maintenance Mechanic, Perform maintenance and break down
repairs on Caterpillar 777, 785, 793 C, D and F model Haul trucks as well as
numerous different support equipment. That equipment includes Caterpillar
D10R, T Dozers, 16G, M motor graders, 824,834,854K rubber tire dozers,
and 740 articulating haul trucks. I also worked a lot on Komatsu 830E DC
and AC Haul trucks and was sent too many training classes on these and
LeTourneau L1850 loaders.
Starting July of 2012, I became the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor of crew
2. I am in charge of the day to day activities of the mobile maintenance
shop, including PM’s, planned component changes and break down
maintenance in the shop and pit. I supervised 15 mechanics, 3 tire and lube
men, 1 electrician, and 10 contractor mechanics. My other duties included
being the relief general supervisor, part of the 5X5’S start up group, and
conducting weekly safety audits of the truck shop and warehouse areas.
Sept 2009 to April 2010
Hose Power USA.
Mobile service technician, job requirements included building hydraulic
hose assemblies, removing and installing the hoses on multiple types of
equipment. The job also required for me to learn sales skills and technical
specs of hoses and fittings.
Feb 2009 to Sept 2009
Robinson Nevada Mining Co.
Shovel and drill mechanic. Performed maintenance and break down repairs
on P&H 2300, Bucyrus Erie 495 electric shovels & Hitachi 3500 and 5500
series shovels. Also on IR DML drills and Atlas Copco pit viper drill and
one Bucyrus Erie electric drill.
June 2007 to Jan 2009
Wheeler Machinery Co.
Resident mechanic located at the Kennecott Utah Copper mine.
Maintenance, preventative maintenance and trouble shooting on all machine
systems, including their fleet of B, C & D model 793 Caterpillar haul trucks.
As well as major component changes on these trucks. Other equipment
required to work on include caterpillar support equipment such as D10T,
16M graders, 24H graders.
2003 to June 2007
Smith Power Products Inc.
Field service mechanic. First started out with the rebuilding of a Series 4000
engine, along with rebuilding and repair too many different Deutz engine
line.
I was then sent to school in Jenbach, Austria to learn about the GE Jenbacher
natural gas and undesirable fuel engines, generators and the electronic
control systems associated with them.
After my schooling in Europe I spent a year and a half maintaining and
repairing two generator sites. One in Ogden, UT located at the old landfill,
the other at the convention center in Tucson, AZ this generator ran on natural
gas.
I received extensive experience in the set up and installation of GE and Kato
AC and DC traction alternators that are installed in the Komatsu 830 and
930 haul trucks also the Lihberr 282 haul trucks. I also received extensive
experience with repair and engine module R&R of these trucks. Have also
done misc. road truck repairs on field calls.
In this position I gained the knowledge of Detroit Diesel/MTU electronic
controls and troubleshooting.
1999 to 2003
United States Navy
Aviation Machinist Mate, Second Class. Professional achievements while
serving as power plants technician and collateral duty inspector with Patrol
Squadron 47, helped to transform the power plants work center into an
extremely productive work center.
I supervised numerous critical engine component repairs, including the
replacement of 41 aircraft engine assemblies and many other engine
propeller and APU systems.
As the Squadrons leading Power plants collateral duty inspector, I was able
to help contribute to the safe completion of 17,700 mishap free flight hours.
Also did many other duties such as, duty driver, petty officer on duty,
barracks security watch and hanger security watch.
I was the Graveyard shift supervisor for a year and a half and the day shift
supervisor for half a year before I was honorably discharged from the Navy.
1996 to 1999
E.H. Gubler Ranch
Ranch hand
Helped in taking care of 1500 head of cattle. Maintained & operated
numerous kinds of farm equipment required to farm the alfalfa for the cattle
and for sale. I was also responsible for the maintained of all the ranch
vehicles. While working at E.H Gubler Ranch I was in High School.
