WORK EXPERIENCE
a) UNICEF (August 2006 - June 2014)
I worked with different country offices of UNICEF managing education and
Water & Sanitation programs worth over USD 10 million during emergencies
and normal time. My key responsibilities included:
. Emergency program planning, implementation and monitoring from relief
through early recovery;
. Maintaining minimum level of preparedness for any emergency situation;
. Supporting governments in developing disaster management policies and
strategies;
. Supervising staff and preparing their evaluation reports;
. Emergency supplies management;
. Field and office coordination;
. Data management, analysis and reporting;
. Capacity building and training;
. Engaging communities through social mobilization and communication;
. Using Information Technology (IT) for program management, record
keeping, reporting and communication;
