WORK EXPERIENCE

Undergraduate Research Student

Center for Advance Vehicular Systems - Sept. 2010-May 2014

Materials Science Testing corrosion on Aluminum, Magnesium Alloys and

Aluminum and Magnesium welds. Different sized samples are taken and

corroded at 5 different times. At each time the weight, thickness,

and micrograph images are taken. After completetion some samples are

tested for stress and strain.

Process Control Engineer Intern

Packaging Corporation of America, Counce, TN January 2010 - May 2010.

Shadowed and worked alongside a Process Control Engineer in the Counce

Paper Mill. On a day to day base I was responsible for observing the

process of the plant and work alongside the Senior Engineers to make

the process more efficient. Also to minimize error.

Undergraduate Research Student

Swalm School of Chemical Engineering Sept. 2009 -January 2010

Assissted a Graduate Student researching Bio Oil. Majority of my

tasks included recording the pH of different types and different ages

of Bio Oil, Calculating the solids percentage using vacuum filtration,

and preparing samples for Gc testing.

Worked with kids grades k-12 that attended the University for a summer

Engineering acadamy. I was responsible for coordinating the

acitvities, making counselor schedules, securing housing and

transportaiton for the differen engineering academies for each summer.
