Objective

I am a very hard worker and strive to put all I have into everything I do. I have becoming a mom and a

wife to thank for those skills. Without my daughters and husband I don't think I would be as far as I

have gotten because they push me to do my best and support me through anything. I would classify

myself as a people person because I just love to talk and try to help anyone I can at all times.

Qualifications

I have had almost 3 years of experience in retail, so I know how to handle tough situations and difficult

customers. Being in retail has shown me the ins and outs of being able to make customers happy and

want to return to the company. I also have a complete understanding of how important professionalism

is for every company. Having my organization skills put to the test and being able to keep myself in

order to make sure things go smoothly in most situations is a challenge I love. Becoming a mom has

heightened my multi tasking skills which I use in the work place every day and have a lot more

compassion for all different people I come into contact with at my job. I love being able to learn every

aspect of all companies I work for.

Work History

Fred Meyer

Cashier

Oct 2011– current

Being a cashier at Fred Meyer comes with a lot of responsibilities. I am the last person a customer

comes into contact with in the store, so it is very important I answer all questions a person would have

and make sure they want to return. I need to know about all departments of the store and be trusted to

handle money. I am trained as a cashier, customer service associate and self check-out associate.

YMCA

Gymnastics Instructor

Nov 2009– Dec 2011

I had the responsibilities of making sure I kept kids of all ages safe and do gymnastics moves correctly.

I had to make sure that I had fun informative lessons plans ready every day and fill out report cards of

how the kids did at the end of each session. I left this job because there weren’t enough hours being

offered to me to help support a family. The YMCA is a great place to work.

Education

Emerald Ridge High School

Graduate

Sept 2007– June 2009

Peirce Community College

Some College

Sept 2010– June 2011

Languages

I studied American Sign Language in school and have completed all courses through ASL 6.

Interests and Activities

I love spending time with family. Making fun memories for my daughters is one of the best jobs I could

ever have. I am very passionate about being able to help people in any way I can.

Computer Skills

I took typing and computer classes in school and being a cashier has helped me improve my 10 key

speeds. I always triple check all my spelling and proof read things before I send anything out for people

to read. Growing up with all the technology around me has helped me figure out problems easily and

pick up on programs or software very well.
