for commercial projects.

Project: 24 Hour Health Club @ Woodmore Towne Centre, Lanham, MD

Two Story concrete and steel physical fitness facility built in Woodmore Towne Centre @ Glenarden,

Lanham, MD 20706. Shell Building with Finished Exteriors, Storefronts, Awnings, Parking Lots, and

U/G SWM Facilities built in 9 months through a very difficult winter.

Key Projects Estimated: Harris Teeter (Laurel, MD, Wash. DC), Safeway ( Brandywine, MD), Safeway

(Alexandria, VA), Maserati and BMW Car Dealerships,( Towson MD), Regal Cinemas, ( Laurel, MD),

November 2012

Senior Project Manager for oversight of all facets including design, permitting, contracting, building,

financial reporting, monthly owners requisitions, subcontractor payments, liaison with Owner and

HUD, and turnover and commissioning to Owner’s management company. Staff included Project

Manager, Construction Coordinator, and 3 Superintendents.

Project: The Residences of Loudoun Station, Ashburn, VA – 357 upscale apartments in three buildings

with 10 elevators, marketing units, leasing offices, and first class amenities. Buildings were 4 and 5

stories with complicated exterior treatments, commercial roofs, and extensive landscaping and

hardscaping. The apartments were built on elevated slabs over retail spaces.

JS Real Estate Consulting, Pasadena, MD – Construction Consulting, May 2009 – July 2011

Worked with multiple Builder/ Developers, and General Contractors performing estimating and problem

solving for multifamily projects.

Fairfield Development LP, Bethesda, MD – Senior Project Manager, April 2007 – April 2009

Senior Project Manager for demolition of 26 buildings including utility removals, and design,

permitting, construction, hiring of staff, buyout and contracting, construction oversight,

subcontractor billing and payments, monthly owner’s requisitions, and liaison with Owner.

Project: West Deer Park Apartments, Gaithersburg, MD – Demolition and removal of 350 garden

apartments. Development and Construction of 315 upscale apartments wrapped around a 5 story

Precast parking garage. Project won a Recycling Award from the City of Gaithersburg for reuse of

building materials. Project also included rock blasting and excavation, underground springs, a parking

garage built on 250 stone piers, and 30’ of fall with a massive retaining wall along the entire rear

boundary.

Housing Tech, LLC, Baltimore, MD – Director of Construction, March 2003 – March 2007

Director of Construction for start-up General Contractor developing and building affordable

multifamily projects in 3 states. Obtained Virginia Builder’s License for projects in Virginia. Teamed

with General Manager to locate clients, secure business, estimate/ buyout/ contract/develop/ and build

all projects. Hired all staff, maintained construction oversight of all projects. Staff included two

Project Managers, Supers, Asst. Supers, and administrative staff. Responsible for all billing and

payments, and liaison with Owners on all projects.

Projects: 1) The Summit at Owings Mills, Reisterstown, MD – 160 garden apartments with major grading

challenges and many retaining walls 2) Woodwind Gables, Woodbridge, VA – 111 garden apartments with

long entrance road and major grading challenges and retaining walls 3) Oxford Gateway, East Goshen

Township, PA – 134 upscale apartments built over garages 4) Mountain View House, McConnellsburg,

PA – Elderly Housing Community built on the mountain in Pennsylvania.

2003

Regional Manager for Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois for the development and construction of

multifamily affordable housing projects. Hired all staff including Project Manager, Superintendents,

and administrative staff. Construction oversight, buyout and contract administration, owner and

subcontractor billing and payments, liaison with owner on all projects, turnover to in house

management company.

Projects: 1) Tyler’s Creek Townhomes, City of Hamilton, Ohio – 240 townhomes built in 2 jurisdictions

2) Pebble Brooke Apartments, Milford, Ohio – 280 garden apartments with grading challenges and

retaining walls 3) Timberlake Townhomes, Avon, Ohio – 265 townhomes built in very challenging

jurisdiction. 4) Landings of Cedar Creek, Monroe, Michigan – 160 3 Story garden apartments 5) Park

Trails, Columbus, Ohio 220 two story townhomes built in the middle of an established development.

Global Construction Company, LLC, Houston, TX – Senior Project Manager, August 1997 – January

2000

Senior Project Manager for construction of 3 Multifamily projects in Virginia and Indiana all built at

the same time for Archstone Communities for a General Contractor based in Houston, Texas. Divided

time between Virginia, Indiana, and Texas. Responsible for construction oversight, buyout and

contract administration, monthly owner’s requisitions, subcontractor billing and payments, liaison

with owner on all projects, and turnover to owner’s management company of all units.

Projects: 1) Archstone @ Swift Creek, Chesterfield County, VA – 280 upscale garden apartments with

retaining walls, massive landscaping, and upscale amenities 2) Cameron River Ridge, Carmel, IN – 160

garden apartments built over garages and 50 two story townhomes with garages. 3) Chesapeake at

Virginia Center II, Henrico County, VA – 48 garden apartments with retaining walls and grading

challenges.
