OBJECTIVE
Greg Georges is a programmer/analyst/project manager with over 14 years of experience
in the Information Technology (IT) field. He is a Sun Certified Java Programmer for the
Java 2 Platform and also a Sun Certified Java Developer for the Java 2 Platform. He
began his career with CGI as an advisor in June of the year 2000, one month after
receiving a university degree, with honors, in information systems management. He has
demonstrated a desire to learn and develop his skills, especially in the field of Web and

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
He has been a project manager at Jolifish since May 2013. This young and rising startup
specializes in Web and mobile application development. As project manager, M. Georges
responsibilities were to evaluate project requirements, create and assign tasks to team
members, and to deliver projects in the estimated timeframes.
Prior to that, he spent four years with Biztree inc, a Montreal company that markets
software for small and medium businesses worldwide, where he headed the 10-member
development team. He also was the project manager and programmer/analyst for
Biztree’s new SaaS platform on the Amazon platform.
In 2004 he founded Openpole in Quebec City, a company specializing in the development
of Java applications and the use of open-source software. Five years later, the company
of 15 people was sold to Berco Solutions in Levis. He also participated in a number of
programming projects for several government bodies: MSSS, TAQ, CNT, MRN, Loto-
Quebec.
He was tasked by the Laurentian Bank to develop an anti-money-laundering Java Web
application. In addition, he worked for the company Nter on a project to redesign Loto-
Quebec’s systems on a Java platform. His technical experience, coupled with his in-depth
knowledge of business processes, have allowed him to support his clients through the
implementation of technology projects.
