Identify, create, develop, and maintain business opportunities for Hilti’s highest grossing and most
profitable territory in Arizona. Clients ranged in revenue from $250K to $100M. Annual personal
profit contribution back to Hilti has averaged over $400k annually for 3 consecutive years.
Achieved Masters Club status 2010 and 2011 by utilizing expertise in consultative, analytical, and
presentational sales to executives as well as field level decision makers. The commercial
construction industry has fallen 85% since 2008 but, through strategies and analysis learned in
my previous marketing role, I have outperformed the industry by 52% overall and grown territory
by an 10% average in 2010 and 2011.
ARS Group
Global Marketing, Research, and Analysis Director 2002-2009
Directed both national and international markets, worked with multiple internal organizations to
coordinate events and market research data. Served as Liaison between ARS and International
clients and reps to assure data captured met/exceeded expectations, improved procedures
resulting in an increase of over $2M, Increased customer contact and maintained/recaptured 20%
of the European business lost over a period of 3 years which contributed to achieving the
company goal of $26M in revenue, Reported directly to VP of Global Operations. Company was
sold in January 2009 and our division was replaced with online procedures in August 2009.
Environment was fast-paced with little margin for error. Teams were required to compile, analyze
and present market research data to determine effectiveness of mass media advertising; research
was structured to increase ROMI (Return On Marketing Investment) by understanding consumer
behavior, opinion and loyalty to help clients prioritize strategic planning and improve brand
awareness. Handled all HR for remote employees domestic and International. Required skills in
P&L, payroll, budgeting, forecasting and all other general management requirements, position
was remote requiring frequent travel from Salt Lake City to Germany, Italy, France, England,
Brazil, Mexico and Canada along with various locations in the US.

agencies such as P&G, McKesson, Henkel, Pfizer, Apple, The FDA, Republican Party, etc.

responsible for facilitating live focus group sessions for 200 persons groups domestically.

Hired to evaluate and restructure the Utah operation for a wood moulding and door distributor,
worked with most major door shops and brands sold in Utah, improved training and team building
efforts achieved a 121% recapture of annual sales and a 6% increase in margins over first 2
years. Increase was achieved utilizing benchmarks, market research, external/internal branding
methods, and improved supply chain procedures including increased forecasting and
communication between suppliers, in-house teams, and the customer. Gross sales rose from $1.4
million to $3.2 million annually. Margins increased from 12% to 18%. Reported directly to CEO.
Company closed Utah branch to right-size and concentrate on Arizona location.
