Duties include PHP/MySQL/OO development for MLS/RETS national real estate data websites.

Aggregated large regional MLS home sales and listings databases for national clients. Optimized

indexes and queries for improved performance. Development of an OO/MVC reusable class

module saved company over 40% on multiple deployments.

Created new baseline MLS/RETS Realty framework using Zend and MVC principles. Implemented

GIT version control and a development server environment. Led several team debugging

PHP/MySQL/Zend/OO code that followed these lead through the entire sales lifecycle of calling,

logging, re-calling, converting to customer etc etc.

Used PhpED IDE Debugger to quickly learn the very complex Zend Framework (considered the

premier open-source framework) to extend the existing base classes, allowing me to create

new modules within the first 6-8 hours of starting the project.

Realty/MLS website. Created a cron-based data import utility that uses cURL to import the

daily MLS feed and picture data(160+ fields). Created advanced search functionality so buyers

can drill down into properties at a very fine level.

Created a PHP MVC framework for use on www.artsBrevard.org that separates data, action,

and view modules for rapid development of backend administration and maintenance needs for

these county government-sponsored sites.

Designed and implemented a MySQL/PHP backend solution for

www.ToyotaCarControlChallange.com, a multi-state website sponsored by Toyota and created

to track high school student driver challenge scores. Score data was automatically imported via

CRON jobs every day Development done under Ubuntu 8.04 Linux with PDTEclipse and

Subversion (SVN) version control.

Developed a C++ multi-threaded xBASE to MySQL data conversion utility that allowed the

real-time replication of xBASE table data to a MySQL database. Built a user-admin

JavaScript/PHP webapp that uses client-side ExtJS 2.0 AJAX to talk to a REST server

responsible for updating agent user database for credit card and e-check (ACH) processing.

ExtJS 2.0 library was used for HTTPRequest calls and widget library.

Created 3 custom websites/communities using WordPress, Apache and PHP 5 for in-house

support use that allow Affirmative employees to share documents and customer service tips

among themselves. Created custom graphics using Photoshop and Illustrator for these sites.

Used PDTEclipse development platform for coding and debugging of custom PHP modules.

a large-scale 150+ table database migration in PHP, rewriting queries and stored procedures as

necessary.

Re-factored existing PHP code to use new CSS layout design to improve site pageload speeds

by a factor of 2. Developed new PHP modules including an AJAX chat system and “ESPIN

Quizzes” and helped implement a Subversion (SVN) version control server and workflow

Duties included development of ISIS and TWAIN scanner driver layer for a JAVA program to

interface with. Used MS Visual C++ to create an DLL API that allow a JAVA applet using Java

Native Interface (JNI) calls to control an external scanner.

Developed a JAVA 2.0 application to allow users to control any scanner through a JAVA UI.

Worked with MIS JAVA architects to re-engineer existing JAVA viewer application classes and

object design.

Feb 2000 - May 2001

Duties included development of server-side components to work with IBM’s digital media

initiative, Electronic Media Management System (EMMS). Wrote server-based MS Visual C++

v6.0 with low-level DB2 database interface code to allow the Clearinghouse and Content Prep

servers attempt to check customer geographical location (based on IP address) using

traceroute triangulation and other proprietary techniques. The servers then used this geographic

information to decide weather to allow the transaction to occur or not.

Also, worked on XML upgrade to allow seamless data exchange between WAP devices and the

e-commerce servers.
