Resume:

Jerri D. Wolfe

**** ******** ***** ***. *

Lake Oswego, OR 97035

Cell: 503-***-****

Email: **********@*****.***

I am a recent graduate from law school, with several years of professional

experience in business, but mostly sales I have a broad ranging background,

abilities and skills, which I was fortunate to acquire from my previous positions. I

am excited to return to full-time corporate employment.

Education

• Western Governor’s University, B.S. Business Management 2006

• Concord Law School at Kaplan University, Executive Juris Doctorate 2012

• Westlaw and Westlaw Next Certified 2012

Professional Experience

Supported Living Specialist, United Cerebral Palsy, April 2007 –

Present

I am currently employed as a caregiver/roommate for my autistic daughter, Renee.

I stopped working at Borders because there was no other program or funding for

Renee at the time, and if I had not taken this job, she would have been placed in a

group home.

Over time I have been able to negotiate my eventual return to work without losing

her to the system. I used this time-off to complete my law degree in the hopes of

securing better employment opportunities than before. I really don’t consider this a

“job”, but I have had to rely on my business skills.

I cook, clean, and maintain her quality of living. I am an advocate for her disabled

rights and have renegotiated with the State of Oregon to improve her entitlement

program. She is non-verbal, and part of my job is to communicate with all her care

providers, and care specialists (doctors) what her needs are.

Corporate Sales Manager, Borders Books January 2004 – April 2007

My position at Borders began as a floor sales employee. I was quickly recruited

into a corporate sales management role because of my past experience in

sales/management. I was required to service all existing accounts, and build the

territory sufficiently to meet monthly goals set by the company. Because my

territory included schools, and all education facilities, there were many

opportunities to bid government contracts. I also exhibited at some of the local

tradeshows (Wordstock).

Broker/Owner, Farmers Insurance Group May 2002 – December 2004

My position with Farmers began by attending insurance licensing classes and

becoming fully licensed as an insurance broker. This job required not only the

knowledge I obtained getting my licenses, but my past marketing/sales skills. I

built a territory from zero customers in my hometown of Lake Oswego.

Systems Analyst (ERP Project implementation), Mentor Graphics, Inc.

March 1997 – January 2002

As a systems analyst I trained many people in the use of SAP software. I was a

liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, and the rest of the company. My

department researched problems that would arise within the company and then

suggest solutions based on our new SAP software implementation. I traveled to

Toronto, Canada to retrain the Human Resources people there, and to Denver,

Colorado to train people at a recently-acquired company there. This job required a

lot of problem-solving and many times working with a team of individuals to meet

our goals.

Government Sales Manager, Anthro Technology Furniture, November

1992 – March 1997.

In this position, I planned and executed sales and marketing strategy for the

government territory. I exhibited at tradeshows all over U.S. and was responsible

for meeting and exceeding sales goals quarterly and training new people entering

the sales program. I was also responsible for all GSA contracts bidding and

reporting. Extensive experience with 800 telephone line when I was in the office,

but mostly I spent time out at appointments with clients. This required significant

product knowledge, including ergonomics of work spaces. The key to this position

was my ability to build strong relationships with multiple contacts within the

customer base, as well as maintain good working relationships. I had light

experience in customs forms and export documentation for sales in Canada.

Professional and Civic Activities

• Student member of the Student Bar Association at Kaplan University

Concord Law School.

• Active member of Lake Oswego ward of LDS Church.

• Basketball coach for daughter’s weekend team.

• Editor and contributor to Westside Gourmet, Inc. Facebook page providing

free cooking advice/recipes for gluten-free individuals.

Personal

I am single and have two children. I am an avid cyclist, and practice yoga several

times a week.
