Duties & Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for the efficient setup and operation of CNC machine tools to produce

component parts in accordance to engineering drawings, internal sketches, or other

specifications provided by engineering.

Responsible for machining of appropriate jobs in the order needed to meet production

schedules.

Responsible for meeting standard production timeframes established for setup and

cycle times.

Setup, and operate a CNC machine to produce high-precision 5th wheel components

using engineering drawings and specifications.

Perform some follow-up operations, such as deburring, polishing, and grinding.

Performs and documents in-process QA inspections and consistently maintain a clean

and organized work area.

Experience/Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated verbal and written instructions

Ability to perform basic arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations

Understand basic CNC machine tool program language (G and M code).

Skilled in use of conventional measuring tools and techniques, to assure compliance

with technical specifications.

Working knowledge of all basic machine shop tools and equipment.

Ability to meet deadlines, concentrate, and pay close attention to detail.

Strong safety orientation.
