This is a department dealing with electronic radio communication devices and systems comprised of units for multiband communications capabilities; radio enclosures and systems comprised of communication packages for unmanned aircraft systems, namely, transceivers and transponders of UHF, L band, cellular data, and video data, video encoders used for viewing real-time video over narrow bandwidth.
Using Solidworks design new radio electronic enclosures (sheet metal, aluminum) to meet customer requirements, network interface, multi radio unit, cables, etc.
Developing new projects for surveillance and security, I had to design in plastic injection new components such as radio side connector and a cord slip box with programmable and testing feature, housing for a Galaxy cell phone with radio capabilities such as PTT and Function button, volume and power button. All plastic projects required 3D printing for testing and fit, observing and redesign to better fit.
Completely redesign and released revision drawings with improved capabilities, reduced cost and manufacturing.
