Responsible for all onsite purchases directly related to the project as needed by the Project Manager;
Other responsibilities included material inventory of all materials purchased and shipped from Spain and
Miami to Jamaica.
Safety Manager
Responsible for administering Humiclima’s Safety and Health program in order to maintain a safe
and healthful workplace for all Humiclima employees, fellow workers and general public; Ensured that
Humiclima remained in compliance with policies designed to prevent accidental injury, occupational
illness and property damage; Safety portfolio included health education, training and monitoring in order
to identify and eliminate hazards and unsafe acts.

Project Manager / Engineer
Supervised the business aspects of all Air Conditioning Ducting Projects. Developed project plans,
budgets, schedules, and solicited prices from subs/suppliers; Reviewed project drawings and worked with
suppliers to develop accurate projections of project costs, including materials, manpower and equipment;
Interpreted construction drawings and project specifications to complete job schedule; Managed day to
day administration and technical services for cost engineering, coordination (between architect,
subcontractors, and client), procurement, budgeting and general project administration through till project
close out.

In addition to my primary responsibilities as a Project Manager for General Ducting, I was also an integral
member of the parent company Jamaica Insulation and Duct-work. Within the parent company I was involved in
estimating, schedulingand staffing of various jobs for Scaffolding, Insulation and Cladding works.
Responsibilities included regular project status reports to internal management, and clients; Identified areas of
concern and implemented recovery actions to minimize adverse trends; Attended and coordinated both internal

with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing work activities; Liaised daily with Subcontractors to actively
monitor and steward progress and performance; Other tasks included planning monthly work schedules to
meet critical milestones; Organized bi-weekly meetings, to coordinate construction works and align

Responsibilities were coordinating and managing the project life cycle of multiple “small” projects
ranging in costs from$500k to $2.4M. Duties included tracking and negotiating changes, general project
oversight under the guidance of theresident engineer, field coordination, liaising between the A/E and
contractor, tracking scope, schedule and budget. Project types included interior construction and
