Designed and implemented a decentralized backup LIMS

applications and databases at remote locations. Maintained the

accuracy and integrity of the data transfer (upload / download)

between the remote databases and the master database.

Analyzed the integrity of the data on the master database level

for altered and/or invalid records. Ensured that the master

oracle database contained accurate and reliable data.

Designed and Implemented a BarCode system at 45 remote

laboratories according to regulations using Zebra Printers which

were connected to a centralized Oracle10g database utilizing the

MPLS-VPN network technology.

Collated and analyzed performance data and charts against

defined parameters as well as Key Performance Indicators. Such

findings were presented to key stakeholders for recommendations

and improvements.

Implemented the in-house printing of the Oracle Academic

Initiative materials, which saved Oracle $250,000 per year.

Taught myself undocumented software the moves files from the

server to the printers. Worked out four different methods for

moving files for maximum redundancy when systems crash. Taught

these methods to other employees. These efforts reduced problem

jobs by 80%.

Ensured that policies and procedures were implemented and

followed which allowed the department to have low staff
