As Co-founder, CEO and President of SimPlus Training and Development Inc. I
have acquired 20 plus years' experience as an executive in the private
sector. Given my background, I have been able to hone my skills in the
area of management, leadership, marketing and promotion. I have also
acquired vast experience in performance measurement, financial planning,
budgeting, consulting/contracting, project management, training and
development, and human resources management. The flag ship training program
that made my corporation internationally known, was the creation of a
computer based / web based simulation learning program - titled: "Virtual
Leader ". Through this product I have provided training to over 10,000
participants in both private and public sector.
Furthermore, I have held numerous management and financial analyst
positions in various federal organizations through my 15 years experience
in the public service. I worked at the Canada School of the Public Service
as a faculty member/instructor, Industry Canada as a senior financial
officer, Transport Canada as a financial analysis, and Transport Canada as
a Manager, Finance and Administration. This has afforded me substantial
experience contributing to the decision-making process through briefing,
counseling and coordinating on issues with officials and stakeholders of
various ranks inside and outside the federal government.
