• Designs and administers online modules in Chinese for high-proficiency
learners in higher education, regional high schools and national Flagship
Universities.
• Coaches faculty on the conversation of successful face-to-face courses to
online and blended versions of courses and the philosophical role change in
becoming an online instructor.
• Supervises the development, content gathering and translation of content for
online applications. Establishes and maintains various Learning Management
Systems. Prepares all forms of media for embedding into a LMS. Serves as
Project Manager for simultaneous development of multiple projects.
• Manages all relationships between SMEs, outside funders, partnering K-12
school districts and other Flagship Universities.
• Coaches students in developing technical competency and mastery over
Internet navigation and the use of Web 2.0 tools.
• Consults with Portland Public Schools in online course delivery.
• In 2011, managed an in-house technical development team in the creation of
a specialized content repository for a project sponsored by NASA and the
Council of Chief State of School Officers.
• Instrumental in getting Northwest Accreditation Commission and Oregon
Department of Education accreditation for online course delivery for the
Center for Applied Second Language Studies (UO) .
• Active in advocating foreign language literacy, technical and media literacy
with high school youth in the State of Oregon.
