Academic Project:

Title: “Compressed Air Driven Vehicle”

Description:

The project is to run a Motorcycle with the help of compressed air. Here we have

used a 4-stroke engine and we had modified the engine, so that it can be run with the help

of compressed air. The compressed air is stored in cylinders and it will give the required

motion to the engine. It is eco-friendly and economic. “Our project aims at making use of

renewable sources of energy and air as a power source.”

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Having a creative idea of a project named “Compressed air driven vehicle”,

we made it successful by re-modifying the previous S.I engine into a

compressed air driven engine.

• Playing an important role in my team, I made a lead and took some

suggestions of my team members to make the project more successful and

impressive.

• The best part of our project was that we used the scrap materials to make a

compressed air driven vehicle.

• We have welded the required machinery parts with the help of arc welding to

our bike. As we used scrap materials we have showed the best out of waste in

our project.

• With the help of our project “Compressed air driven vehicle” we have proved

that it is eco-friendly which is also an economic one.

• With an impressive and successful submission of our project in our college,

we got lot of appreciation and our project is been displayed in our college.

Achievements:

• Volunteered and organized in “SUMMIT’’ conducted by Sanketika Institute of

Technology and Management in 2012.

• Took Industrial visit at “BHPV” and Studied Details of Working of Lathe

machines and Construction of Boilers.

• Participated in “SCI-BOTIX’2011” which is conducted by “S.V.L.I.E.T” in

2011 and received merit certificate regarding the test.

• Participated in “Mechano 2” conducted by “JNTUK-VIZIANAGARAM” and

received Participation certificate.

• Participated in many Drawing Competitions and received Certificates and

Prizes.

Extra-curricular activities:

• Organized and Participated in many Cultural and Sports activities in the

college.

• I am an active member in the “SUMMIT ”, an Association which was formed

by mechanical department in our college.
