and specification requirements. Carrying out Visual inspection of materials, Fit up inspection,

Welding inspection, Dimensional inspection, Material thickness inspection, Hydro test inspection and

Paint thickness inspection on the fabricated Refinery Tanks, Boiler Pressure parts such as Headers,

Drums, Piping items, Tubular products like Panels, Coils, Heat Exchangers and Formation of products

like Dish ends, Reducers, Tees, Elbows and Oil Field equipments like Flanges, Piping Spools, Blocks,

Mud Cross, DSA, Transmitter Adapter, Buffer Chamber and other items.

• Working with MTQ Oilfield Services WLL, Kingdom of Bahrain as QA/QC Inspector from

March 2014 to present.

• Worked with Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited as Inspection Engineer on contractual

basis from September 2013 to November 2013.

• Working with MTQ Oilfield Services WLL, Kingdom of Bahrain as QA/QC Inspector from

May 2012 to May 2013.

• Worked with Intertek Moody International for its client Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited

(BHEL) as Inspection Engineer from May 2011 to April 2012.

• Worked with Veesons Energy Systems Private Limited as QC Inspector from August 2008 to

March 2011.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing raw material inspection of incoming materials and welding consumables towards

the specification requirements.

• Performing positive material identification through Spectro test and checking of colour codes

for all materials under the process.

• Performing inspection of pipe fit up related items for root gap, root face and misalignment.

• Conducting welder qualification test, training and performance monitoring.

• Witnessing WPS as per In-house welding activities.

• Prepare non-conformance report and recommend suitable corrective action.

• Monitoring the storages of electrodes and its baking condition.

• Performing Visual inspection, Welding inspection, Dimensional inspection at (Initial, In

process & Final stages) and Painting inspection.

• Monitoring the welding as per the relevant WPS and WQT.

• Preparing the weld map as per the isometric and clearing the NDT requirements.

• Monitoring and performing NDE examination, hardness and reviewing the reports.

• Preparation of work history sheets as per the site condition, types of weld and materials

involved.

• Monitoring the quality of construction by sub-contractors.

• Following all safety rules, policies and procedures.

• Review of quality records, calibration certificates & Equipments used.

• Reviewing the NCR and monitor the corrective and preventive action reports from the

relevant departments.

• Verifying the Coating, Assembly, Functioning of the equipments and Painting as per BOM.
