o Crystallizer
o Controlled heaters
Design, commissioning and trials on a pilot plant for the continuous production of jaggery.
Feasibility analysis of a mobile Jaggery unit, to produce jaggery in sugarcane fields.
Experiments on a bagasse-based gasifier.
Scale-up of a pilot plant from lab-scale to a scale of production 1 tone of jaggery per day.
Preparation of detailed P & ID and PFD for all unit operations and Unit process in the task.
Revamping and modifications in coating of a paper with Biodegradable polymers
Biodegradable poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) coating to improve the different properties of paper.
Optimization of the glue preparation technique and applied for the coating process.
Experimental studies to determine the effect of different parameters of coating (coat
thickness, coating material, glue viscosity, and temperature)
Properties evaluation for the coated paper. Paper has shown improvement in strength,
smoothness, brightness over other known coated alternatives.
