Lead Associate Accounts Receivable Manager October 2010 – May 2014

• Provide daily operational review/quality control for a team of 10-12 individuals in support of 500 contracts (T&M,

Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price) for the Army, Air Force, Navy Marine Corp and Joint Combatant Commands markets.

Responsibilities include contract set up in accounting system, timely invoicing of incurred cost, collections and close-

out activities. Annual revenue for contract base in excess of $800M.

• Oversaw team, which consistently achieved 100% monthly billing productivity target for incurred cost. Team’s

efficiency resulted in optimal DSO results and cash flow for the firm.

• Established Key Controls related to SOX. Implemented process to track compliance against Key Controls on a

monthly basis. Monthly tracking/reporting of staff results drove department efficiency resulting in no material audit

deficiencies for internal/external audits.

• Proficient in the areas of contract interpretation and compliance with government regulations (FAR, DFAR, etc.).

Skilled in resolution of DFAS issues with an extensive knowledge of WAWF.

• Conducted monthly meetings with collections and market leads to review potential receivable issues. Aggressive

remediation efforts for > 30, 60, and 90 day receivable issues resulted in optimal cash flow for the firm and limited

financial reserves to less than a quarter of 1%.

• Resolved significant receivable issues in the millions through collaborative efforts with the collection's team, client

staff and customer. Two recent efforts on my part returned $65K and $85K back to profit after receivables were

deemed write offs.

• Prepare and conduct Quarterly Risk meetings. Meetings conducted with Acquisitions and Finance leadership to assess

risk factors, outline resolution owners/action and provide recommendations to the firm’s leadership for financial

reserves.

Federal Government Billing Manager April 2003 – October 2004

MCI (Now known as Verizon), Ashburn, VA

• Responsible for day to day management of FTS2001 Federal Government Telecommunications Contract. The

FTS2001 contract is the umbrella agreement for all government agencies.

• Oversaw the monthly delivery of electronic files and invoicing for over 20 product offerings totaling $35M per

month.

• Partnered with IT Support to troubleshoot existing production issues and execute quarterly release enhancements.

• Prepared and presented monthly metrics reporting to senior management.

• Actively participated in Sarbanes Oxley compliance efforts with Internal Controls Organization for the FTS2001

contract.

Contract Implementation Front Line Manager September 1996 – December 1998

• Oversight for staff of 4-6 analysts, tasked with implementing the financial terms and conditions of approximately 250

customers. Customers included MCI’s largest multi-national account base in addition to the Federal Government

contract base.

• Regularly communicated with Business Development, Legal and Pre-Sale departments to ensure contract compliance

and the automated support of all contractual terms and conditions.

• Mentored new analysts and established training plans for complex products and rate entry.

• Presented implementation process overviews to sales personnel in the field in an effort to establish a better working

relationship, in addition to bringing greater cohesion to the overall process.

Implementation Analyst March 1995 – August 1996
