Foley Plant
Responsible for the analysis of conversion costs
and raw material costs related to all areas of the
Nylon mill site located in Pensacola, Florida and
Foley, Alabama. Site areas include Staple,
No-Shock, Solution Prep, Vydyne, Polymer,
Autoclaves, and Compounding.
Responsible for inventory verification and
reconciliations related to In-Process Production,
Packaging Production, Salt Consumption, and
Packaging & Additive material Consumption.
Preparation and analysis of financial/economic
models related to capital projects for the Nylon
plant. Monitor and track project savings in A2E
database related to productivity, SalesForce.
Prepare monthly forecast for Pensacola Nylon and
Foley plant sites for update in SAP and BPC.
Prepared Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for both
sites.
Meet closing deadlines for completed close of books
by +2 business day, provide explanations of
variances, and issue cost reports to business unit
leaders and plant manager by +3 business day.
Other duties include: Costing materials for
production over multiple assets, preparing Annual
Standards for all material costs with explanations
of year over year variances, verifying bill of
materials calculations for materials, assisting
production with settlement of process orders,
material cost comparisons between compounding and
clave production, calculation and explanation of
salt yields, and other special projects as
assigned.

Non-direct cost analysis related to miscellaneous
operating supplies for operating and service
departments; competitive positioning analysis to
target gap closures in becoming "low-cost"
facility; and the analysis of construction in

Responsible for inventory management and
reconciliation related to fuel, machine clothing,
finished goods, and fixed assets.
Maintain the fixed assets & capital projects for
the facility by assisting department managers in
writing DMF (Decision Making Framework) models to
justify the spending of capital and maintenance
money in our facility. Preparation and analysis of
financial/economic models related to the DMF.
Maintain the Investment Tracking System related to
DMF's and Capital Spending.
Prepare and present cost reports and variances to
senior leadership and department heads on a monthly
basis for non-direct costs and capital spending.
Lead the Internal Financial Controls effort with
all areas of the mill to develop and write formal
policies & procedures and manage the internal
financial controls portal.
Records Retention Management lead for the Alabama
River mill site. Includes overseeing meetings
related to RIM and verifying all departments are
meeting RIM requirements as noted.
