Materials Marketing is a fully integrated manufacturer of hand carved architectural and dimensional stone. It owns and

operates its fabrication facilities in Mexico and showrooms in the USA.

Director of Operations

Ensured that the company’s everyday activities run smoothly, throughout daily meetings to review the ‘Score

Card’ with all the KPI’s. Monitored revenue margins and operational efficiency, implemented new directives

for growth. Liaised between sales and manufacturing capacity through rough cut capacity planning meetings.

MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Successfully handled $9MM P&L responsibility, 7 directs and 153 indirect reports

Introduced Italian white marbles on the array of products increasing sales by 8% (0.8MM)

Identified KPI and created a scorecard to have a snap shot of the operations results per shift every

Responsible for the overall supply chain from start to finish identifying operations bringing value to it from the

ones that does not and eliminating waste. Applied lean techniques to improve processes in a continuous

improvement cycle. Conducted product routings audits to comply with standard costs.

Managed value stream mapping, process audits and continuous improvement events to optimize the
