Expanded and reorganized the sales staff, instituted vital training and
restructured the account allocation and commission structure. Fully
successful, closed the first year there at 105% of revenue goal. The
account assignment/commission system was subsequently adopted by numerous
subsidiary newspapers, television stations and out-of-home plants.
? Tasked with boosting falling sales in the highly competitive and rapidly
changing San Antonio market. The first initiative was to establish a
corporate identity program designed to distance the competition. Re-
pricing and re-packaging, coupled with in-depth sales staff negotiations
training, now captured 75% of competitive bids at superior margins.

? Requested to reverse a four-year trend of falling sales in an
Albuquerque company. Instituted a customer focused approach, training and
incentive system to support this core philosophy. Within the year, sales
improved 13%, followed by record setting cash flow and sales increases in
the years following ... 8% year-over-year sales growth.
? Assumed the responsibility for the turnaround of a Little Rock company
and was faced with 14 years of missed revenue targets. The first order of
business was to reshape the public image prompted by years of poor customer
responsiveness and maintenance practices. Drove an aggressive image
makeover campaign, backed by sales team and customer service training and
upgrades. Reversed the negative public image and made revenue target in
the first year.

weddings in the campus chapel, corporate events and expanded use of other
campus facilities (sports, theatrical, musical performance and classroom).

resort in Central Texas. Primarily responsible for sales, bookings, public
relations, marketing and customer service for weddings, corporate retreats
