Project title: Experimental Investigation on Effect of TiO2 Nanoparticles as Fuel Additive

On Performance and Emission Characteristics of a CI Engine.

Project Details:

In the present world there is depletion of fossil fuels. This indicates the necessity

of alternate fuel. This necessity gave an opportunity to find an alternate fuel.

In the above mentioned project fuel prepared was a blend of Diesel and

Pongamia bio oil along with TiO2 nanoparticles.

The ultimate aim of this experiment was to study performance and emission

characteristics of CI engine using the alternate fuel as mentioned.

As a result emission was decreased and performance of the engine has increased,

which was the good sign of this experiment.

Undergone 15 days internship on automotive basic course at Mandovi Motors,

Mangalore.

Undergone 1 week internship at Mangalore Chemical Fertilizers, Mangalore.
